A good morning routine can have an instrumental role in setting your day up for success.
I have been studying a lot of successful women both online and in person. One thing that I have found common to most successful people is that they have a consistent morning routine.
Being a first time mom can be quite overwhelming. It might seem like there is absolutely no way to create a morning routine that works.
The truth is that it was initially a challenge for me as well. I knew that for the routine to work, it had to be enjoyable for me and also fit with my infant son’s unpredictable schedule.
Once I got the routine that works, I knew that I absolutely had to share it. Finally being able to implement this routine has been instrumental in helping me to be more productive throughout the day.

I initially started by studying the Miracle morning routine. This routine was made famous by the book- The Miracle Morning: The Not-So-Obvious Secret Guaranteed to Transform Your Life (Before 8AM).
Like I shared earlier, I am a first-time mom which means that implementing any sort of routine is just a little bit trickier.
My REALISTIC morning routine is loosely based on the miracle morning routine.

I chose to wake up at 5 AM because it gives me enough time to complete my morning routine before my 10 month old son wakes up for the day.
I have been following this routine for about 2 months now and it has been pretty easy to stay consistent as I see the benefits that it has on my energy levels and productivity every day.

Having a morning routine that is easy to implement and enjoyable has been the key to staying consistent. I really believe that if you can start every day on a positive note, you stand the best chance of having a positive day overall.
There you have it- the routine that basically saved my sanity.
